Directing

As a director, I'm driven by a fierce sense of human connection and a commitment to telling stories that rarely get the space they deserve. My work is deeply rooted in my passion for queer narratives and projects that explore mental health, always aiming for authenticity and emotional depth.

I am one of the co-founders of Stubborn Little Spark, a production company that I started with Alexis Korotash.  Northern Escape was our first project that I co-directed with Alexis, a film that expanded my visual language and strengthened my love for collaborative storytelling and genre films.

I also direct independently. My documentary, From The Ashes, had its world premier at Hamilton Film Festival in 2025. It's a story that spotlights the courage and lived experience of Ontario’s female firefighters — a project that I hold near and dear to my heart.

Whether I’m creating independently or through Stubborn Little Spark, I’m focused on crafting work that resonates and reveals.

From the Ashes

Set against the backdrop of Hamilton’s firefighting community, “From the Ashes” highlights the women who step into the heat. Weaving together candid interviews and immersive footage, this short film reveals the grit, resilience, and camaraderie of female firefighters while challenging outdated perceptions and sparking vital conversations.

Northern Escape

A couple on a cottage getaway tries to work on their relationship, but ends up getting more than they bargained for when they discover something sinister lurking beneath the surface.

Northern Escape screened at seven festivals and won three awards: Best Leading Performance and Best Cinematography at Bay of Blood Festival, and third place at Hamilton Fringe Festival.
